A mandatory UK-wide electronic system for recording waste movements, replacing paper-based waste transfer notes and consignment notes. Implementation begins April 2026 for waste receivers, with full mandatory compliance by April 2027. The service creates real-time visibility of waste movements for regulators and provides a digital chain of custody for all waste types including commercial, hazardous, electronic, and construction waste.
