Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF)

A solid fuel prepared from non-hazardous waste to be used for energy recovery in co-incineration plants. SRF must meet specific quality standards defined in BS EN 15359. It is a higher quality fuel than general RDF, with defined classifications for calorific value, chlorine content, and mercury content. SRF production is a recovery operation.
